Per Diem Home Infusion Nurse

About the role

Deliver care in patients' homes to improve health outcomes by safely administering specialty medications, including IV infusions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe administration of specialty medications in patients' homes.
• Collaborate with care teams to support patient well-being.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Serve as the primary contact for patient updates and coordinate care independently.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in critical, acute, or home care.
• Proficiency in IV techniques.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to travel regionally and make multiple patient visits weekly, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience with infusion therapy programs preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of home healthcare protocols and regulations.
