PEPI: Director - Commercial Due Diligence

Our team includes experienced Directors who lead CDDs and deliver investment-ready insights.
About the role
Directors are the primary engagement owners, leading CDDs end-to-end and managing clients day-to-day. They make judgment calls on trade-offs, depth vs. speed, and risk emphasis, ensuring outputs are investment-ready.
Responsibilities
- Own the engagement from kickoff through final IC read-out
- Frame diligence scope, hypotheses, and priority risks
- Lead day-to-day client interaction with PE deal teams
- Orchestrate Managers and workstreams into a cohesive storyline
- Ensure outputs are investment-committee ready
- Coach Managers on judgment, synthesis, and leadership
Qualifications
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years in consulting or CDD
- Deep understanding of PE decision-making and diligence dynamics
- Strong executive presence and client credibility

Clients view the Director as the deal’s thought partner, consistently delivering sharp, decisive commercial views, and building repeat engagement momentum.
Pay
The salary range is $150,000-$225,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program.
Schedule
Full-time positions are offered, with regular employees working 30 or more hours per week. They are eligible for healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages, as well as a 401(k)-retirement plan.
Benefits
Employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
