About the role

The People Operations Partner will lead all HR activities and related projects for assigned facilities and teams. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance with employment laws, conducting investigations, providing advice, supporting internal customers, managing the staffing process, and assisting in retention initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations issues
  • Support management and respond to employee inquiries
  • Engage all levels of internal customers in activities and handle issues
  • Lead the full cycle staffing process, including sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop programs supporting business objectives
  • Provide guidance and training to team members
  • Reduce voluntary turnover and increase employee engagement through strategic plans and actions
  • Participate in retention/engagement events and follow-up on action plans
  • Make pay review recommendations and provide guidance to managers on pay guidelines
  • May work at multiple locations and travel as needed
  • Assist in projects like annual merit processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years professional HR experience in HR Generalist, employee relations, talent acquisition, or related field
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems and develop solutions
  • Software skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and overnight shifts

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HR practices, guidelines, and regulations
