About the role

The Seasonal People Operations Coordinator at Highway West Vacations supports high-volume HR, onboarding, payroll, and employee administration activities during peak operational periods. This role serves as a key resource for seasonal employees and managers by coordinating hiring and onboarding processes, maintaining employee records, supporting payroll and timekeeping functions, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Cook up seasonal new hire onboarding, employment documentation, and employment status changes; accurately enter and maintain employee information in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Support high-volume hiring initiatives by managing onboarding communications, scheduling orientation activities, and ensuring timely completion of required paperwork.
  • Maintain confidential employee records, both electronic and paper, in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Track employee attendance, timekeeping records, leave balances, and other workforce data to support accurate payroll processing.
  • Partner with site managers to ensure timely payroll submissions and employee data updates throughout the season.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for seasonal employees and supervisors, responding to HR, payroll, and policy-related questions.
