About the role

The People Operations and Technology team at Chainalysis is focused on building a seamless, scalable, and data-driven employee experience. We sit at the center of the People team, enabling the business through thoughtful system and process design, automation, and insights. Our mission is simple: make it easy for employees, managers, and leaders to get what they need, when they need it, through intuitive systems and reliable data.

Responsibilities

  • Manage core employee lifecycle processes in Workday (hiring, internal job changes, exits)
  • Recommend process optimization and champion new HRIS processes as they roll out
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, delivering timely and accurate support through our ticketing system
  • Own data integrity across people systems by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepancies
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual People processes using AI and workflow tools, and collaborate with the team to implement them
  • Build and maintain the People team's internal knowledge base as a reliable, self-service resource
  • Assist with benefit administration for colleagues across the globe
  • Support compliance and audit readiness, including SOC 2, regulatory requirements, and the employee handbook
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and process documentation for all core People workflows
  • Partner closely with cross-functional partners (Finance, BizTech, Legal, Security) to ensure successful resolution of process, program, or data issues

Requirements

We're looking for candidates who have the highest degree of integrity at all times, maturity & discretion when handling sensitive information, strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and project management skills, past experience using Google Suite and a willingness to consistently learn about its new features and tools, a team-first mentality and customer-oriented approach, and demonstrated history of creative problem-solving.

Qualifications

Nice to have:

  • Experience familiarizing with the technologies we use (e.g. Workday, Atlassian, Google Workspace) from an end-user or process perspective
  • Exposure to HR compliance programs and audits including evidence gathering and control documentation
  • Experience in People (HR) Operations or a similar program management role
  • Proven documentation, communications, and/or knowledge management skills
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI, automation, or agentic tools

Skills

AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

Compensation Range: $50K - $65K
