The University of Florida, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking exceptional board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine to become an integral part of our esteemed department.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in federally funded research studies
  • Provide critical bedside, didactic, and simulation training for pediatric and emergency medicine residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers
  • Hold leadership positions within the UF College of Medicine
  • Support the expansion of clinical services in our community and across the state

Requirements

  • Board-certified or Board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Board certified in Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine (ABP/ABEM/ABOEM), with eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine

The successful candidate will join our growing Department in a non-tenure accruing position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. This position will hold a University of Florida appointment and become part of our current group of 9 full time PEM faculty and over 40 general EM faculty to support the expansion of clinical services in our community and across the state.
