About the role
Personal Care Aide responsible for providing in-home care to clients.
Responsibilities
- Follow client care plans
- Complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets
- Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation, feeding, oral hygiene, transfers, and use of special equipment
- Encourage client self-help
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Notify staff of changes in client condition
- Respect client privacy
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred
- At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience
- Must be 18 or older
Skills
- Ability to provide basic personal care
- Utilize safety precautions
- Communicate effectively
- Respect confidentiality
- Assist with medication management (only with supervision)
- Attentive to client limitations and notify staff of any concerns or issues
