Job Summary and Qualifications

• Promptly answers all incoming calls and assists in placing outgoing calls.
• Responds to code phone, code computer, or wall panel alarms which take priority over any calls except the fire alarm and ensuring appropriate personnel are notified.
• Maintains fire panel alarms, wall alarms, code phone, and code computer, contacting the fire department and other personnel as needed.
• Pages on web-based paging systems and switchboards for authorized personnel, physicians, and emergency calls.
• Plays long-distance and Watts Line calls for various departments and doctors' offices.
• Assists patients by advising them on how to place local and long-distance calls.
• Documents vital information to assist supervisors in maintaining current files with daily PBX operations.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education

A high school diploma or GED is required.
