The PBX Operator serves as the central communication hub for the Dellshire Resort, managing all incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism, efficiency, and warmth. This position ensures that guests, team members, and external callers receive prompt and accurate assistance. The PBX Operator is responsible for directing calls, relaying messages, handling emergency communications, and providing information in accordance with Dellshire Resort’s service standards.

Who You Are
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or switchboard operations preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize under pressure.
- Working knowledge of telephone systems, PBX consoles, and basic office technology.
- Professional appearance, calm demeanor, and commitment to guest service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Other Duties as Assigned by Manager
- Maintain current knowledge of resort facilities, staff, and operations to provide accurate information to callers.
- Support Front Office, Security, and Engineering with emergencies or urgent communications.
- Update and maintain internal directories, extension lists and contact sheets.
- Always ensure confidentiality of guest information and internal communications.
- Report equipment malfunctions or service interruptions to appropriate technical support.
