PBX Operator Job Summary

The PBX Operator responds to incoming calls in a timely manner and directs callers to appropriate destinations, providing a smooth, clear, and professionally courteous communication practice. Performs overhead paging, monitors all alarms located in the PBX, and notifies appropriate personnel as required. Responds quickly and accurately to emergency situations, maintaining confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient and organizational data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Experience preferred but not required
