Patient Services Specialist - Scheduling

About the role

At Providence Medical Group SW, our Patient Service Representatives are valuable members of the patient care team in our clinics. We currently have full-time roles available.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare
• Work in various departments including Call Center, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and more
• Provide exceptional customer service in a medical setting
• May assist with electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• 1 year customer service experience
• Coursework/Training: Two years of community college/business school training
• Coursework/Training: Additional course work in business or health care related subjects
• 1 year experience working in a medical setting
• Physician group practice experience
• Experience with electronic medical record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record (if applicable)

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Pay

WA Puget Sound Min: $21.30, Max: $30.26
