About the role

Provides exceptional patient scheduling and supports in-clinic care team coordination to enhance community health.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact, delivering excellent customer service and managing patient inquiries.
  • Schedules appointments, follow-ups, and in-room visits to support continuity of care.
  • Conducts proactive outreach to reschedule missed appointments and manages patient waitlists.
  • Monitors provider schedules for gaps and collaborates with care team members to optimize appointments.
  • Maintains expertise in clinic workflows, documentation, and scheduling standards.
  • Communicates appointment details clearly and documents activities in electronic health records.
  • Supports quality improvement initiatives related to scheduling and access.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; clinical or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, computer skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to a respectful environment.
