About the role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations and workflows
  • Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Use basic computer skills for data entry and word processing
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
  • Show empathy, patience, and tact when handling inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail, especially when entering patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation
  • Ensure confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure
  • Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure
  • Complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shifts
  • Perform duties involving pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of applicable medical office experience preferred
