Patient Scheduling Specialist - Pre-Anesthesia

Work Schedule

• Part time, 16 hours per week.
• Scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department.

Pay

• Starting at $20.14 per hour.
• Experience considered for starting base pay.

Responsibilities

• Utilize excellent customer service skills to schedule appointments via phone, in-person, or electronic correspondence.
• Make an impact on the patient experience by scheduling appointments across multiple locations.
• Aid patients and their families with their appointment scheduling needs.
• Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure appropriate care is provided in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum: One (1) year of previous experience in an office or customer service environment.
• Preferred: Previous experience working in healthcare.
• Previous experience scheduling patients.
• Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person.
