Patient Registrar
About the role
Assist patients with questions and concerns. Keep families informed. Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments. Obtain demographic details and insurance information. Ensure proper scheduling. Record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Provide the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.

Requirements
- Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first
- Must be detail-oriented, able to problem solve and work independently
- Ability to multi-task and perform various registration duties on demand
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of hospital procedures, routines, regulations, and medical terminology preferred

Schedule
Variated hours 7am-8pm at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY. Travel will be required at times to offsite locations.
Pay
$29.90-$34.15/Hourly
