About the role
Assist patients with questions and concerns. Keep families informed. Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments. Obtain demographic details and insurance information. Ensure proper scheduling. Record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Go above and beyond to help others.

Requirements
- Knowledge of hospital procedures, routines, regulations and medical terminology
- Completed some college coursework and are familiar with health insurance requirements
- Epic Experience
- At least one year of clerical experience supported by a high school diploma or GED
- Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first
- Detailed oriented, able to problem solve and work independently
- Able to multi-task and perform various registration duties on demand
Qualifications
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work holidays
- Must be able to work at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY

Schedule
This is a full time Evening (3:00 PM- 11:00 PM) position rotating both Weekends and Holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.
Pay
$29.90-$34.15/Hourly
