Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm day‑to‑day appointments for a variety of Radiology exams using a computerized system.
- Provide response to patients, prepare patients for their procedures.
- Verify insurance, request missing information, maintain insurance data.
- Adhere to healthcare unit policies.
- Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments; check‑in at arrival.
- Receive calls through phone queue and make outgoing calls to referring facilities for faxed orders.
- Demonstrate familiarity with radiology terminologies.
- Act as a calm and reassuring presence for patients navigating the hospital experience.
Requirements
- At least one year of clerical experience supported by a high school diploma or GED.
- Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.
- Detail‑oriented, able to problem solve and work independently.
- Ability to multi‑task and perform various registration duties on demand.
- Willingness to cover all areas as needed.
- Preferred: Knowledge of hospital procedures, routines, regulations and medical terminology.

Pay
Salary range: $29.90‑$34.15 per hour.
Schedule
