Responsibilities

According to nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients with a specialty care needs. Has responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients that are in a critical care setting or potentially result in patient crisis situation. Seen as a leader during patient high acuity procedural situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing; Competent in Moderate Sedation; BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care; ACLS; PALS; Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Two (2) year critical care experience; Critical Care Certification, and/or Certified Radiology RN (CRN)
