Patient Admissions Coordinator - On Call Variable

As a Patient Admissions Coordinator, you are the welcoming voice patients hear at the start of their care journey. Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and families, providing clear and compassionate guidance throughout the admissions process.
• Processing insurance claims and eligibility verifications efficiently.
• Entering patient information accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and care coordination.
• Managing on-call schedules and responding promptly to emergencies.

Requirements

• A degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• National Certification of CHAA preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Business Office settings.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• Experience with Epic applications.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $20.19 - $30.26 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This position is part-time and works multiple shifts available.
