As a Patient Admissions Coordinator, you are the welcoming voice patients hear at the start of their care journey. Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and families, providing clear and compassionate guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Processing insurance claims and eligibility verifications efficiently.
- Entering patient information accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and care coordination.
- Managing on-call schedules and responding promptly to emergencies.
Requirements
- A degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
- National Certification of CHAA preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Business Office settings.
- Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
- Knowledge of medical billing codes.
- Experience with Epic applications.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $20.19 - $30.26 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This position is part-time and works multiple shifts available.
