About the role

Join a healthcare team supporting patient access operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support to the Patient Access team, supporting departments like Neuroscience and Behavioral Health
  • Monitor daily operational functions, call queues, and patient volumes to ensure timely service
  • Train and guide staff to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Develop and track department metrics, prepare reports, and identify workflow improvements
  • Handle escalated patient concerns, coach team members, and ensure compliance
  • Assist with staff scheduling, department meetings, and special projects
  • Maintain excellent customer service and foster effective team relationships

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of healthcare and scheduling experience
  • Ability to work second or third shift hours
  • Preferred leadership experience and strong soft skills such as adaptability, problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking
