Patient Access Representative

About the role

This role involves on-site registration of patients for clinical services, including collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and financial information, and obtaining necessary authorizations, pre-certifications, and referrals.

The representative collaborates with scheduling departments to identify patients, contacts families or physician offices for missing information, and notifies patients of liabilities while collecting payments. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, adhering to policies, and safeguarding assets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of relevant experience
