About the role

The Patient Access & Pre-Access Manager oversees strategic and operational functions for patient access and pre-access teams, ensuring alignment with revenue cycle goals and regulatory standards. This position pays between $56,800.00 - $78,875.00 based on experience and is an on-site position in Miami, FL. Must be bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage operations for admitting, registration, and financial services departments at acute care locations.
  • Ensure accurate MRNs, medical necessity/compliance checks, patient instructions, insurance information collection, physician order assignment, and excellent customer service.
  • Manage Financial Service Representatives, ensuring proper accounting processes, cash drawer balancing, timely money deposit, and accurate account posting.
  • Develop and manage departmental staffing needs, prepare monthly reports, and establish departmental goals to optimize performance and meet organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate employee work schedules for adequate daily staffing coverage, collect, interpret, and communicate performance data, and work with internal and external customers to make key decisions.
  • Collaborate with ancillary departments to establish and maintain positive relations, ensuring revenue cycle goals are achieved.
  • Assist in developing dyad-reporting patient access staff, provide training, education, goal setting, and performance interventions as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ management experience in healthcare industry.
  • Preferred area of study: Healthcare Management / Administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft.
  • Ability to balance numerous priorities and understand and master numerous computer applications.
  • Experience with managed care/insurance and call center experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Patient Access experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in prioritization and ability to understand and master multiple computer applications.

Pay

This position pays between $56,800.00 - $78,875.00 based on experience.
