Parts Warehouse Coordinator II

About the Role

This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods to and from the warehouse(s) while providing a superior level of customer service and maintaining the integrity of electronic inventory records. The role involves inventory management, supplier management, purchasing, stocking, tracking job orders/deliveries, forecasting parts demand, and general warehouse stocking under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally at all times while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Enerflex's values and vision.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, and warehouse equipment to transport materials between warehouses, shops, customers, and vendors.
  • Process requisitions, work orders, shipping orders, and material issues in accordance with company procedures and systems.
  • Receive, inspect, count, weigh, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and related documentation.
  • Transfer materials between receiving, production, storage, and designated locations.
  • Provide accurate and timely customer invoicing and billing.
  • Enter all required materials and services on applicable order types and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Sort, label, and store materials according to established part-number sequences and storage procedures.
  • Utilize SAP and other inventory management systems to maintain records and process transactions.
  • Prepare products for domestic and international shipment using proper packaging methods to ensure safe delivery.
  • Determine appropriate shipping methods and manage freight claims when necessary.
  • Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory control processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Source, quote, purchase, and bill materials and services for projects as directed by management.
  • Manage inventory variance reports, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Review and audit shipping, receiving, bills of materials, routing, and picking transactions in SAP to identify and correct errors.
  • Resolve moderately complex operational issues and recommend process, policy, and procedural improvements to management.
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, shipping, receiving, supply chain, and other departments to reconcile inventory variances and support operational goals.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and employees.
  • Source and procure parts and services at competitive pricing and favorable terms while complying with company procurement policies.
  • Maintain ownership of procurement activities from sourcing through delivery and inventory management, ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, supply chain personnel, and other departments to ensure compliance with company standards and operational requirements.
  • Assist with supplier selection, product evaluations, pricing reviews, and contract term assessments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Support the development, tracking, and reporting of supplier and departmental performance metrics.
  • Safely perform manual material handling, including loading and unloading materials from trucks.
  • Work toward established branch and individual performance objectives and assist peers with problem-solving and operational support.
  • Comply with all company HR, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations, including overtime as required by business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' related work experience.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry including experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar engine and Ariel compressor, Waukesha and related spare parts preferred.
  • Great understanding of the invoicing/billing process (if applicable).
  • Capable of lifting (up to 50 lbs.), push/pull (up to 70 lbs.), and operating light equipment within a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and properly use/operate lift trucks and general equipment used in a warehouse.
  • Capable of effective communication with various levels of personnel.
  • Possess math aptitude necessary to do inventory calculations.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and dealing effectively with interruptions.
  • Good customer service skills; displays a professional can-do attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Enerflex is unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to perform fine motor skills; possess good hand/eye coordination; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time; get in/out of truck cab; up/down from truck bed; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will also be required to work outside in extreme heat and/or cold; regularly/frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
