Parts Quality Group Lead

About the role

Supports the Parts Quality Mass Production Team by preventing supplier defects, conducting technical investigations, analyzing problems, and implementing effective countermeasures. Manages change points to minimize production disruptions and collaborates with suppliers, internal departments, and R&D teams to resolve complex quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Address daily quality problems through data collection, analysis, and problem‑solving tools.
• Approve supplier countermeasures and change points before final review.
• Coordinate meetings with suppliers and internal teams to develop corrective actions.
• Support quality assurance visits to verify investigations and corrective measures.
• Assist in monthly reporting on top concerns and PDCA cycle activities.
• Review and approve system design changes.
• Guide new and existing associates on quality management systems and develop problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing and working with OEM suppliers.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including travel and overtime.
• Ability to lead teams, instruct associates, and work flexibly, including off‑shifts and weekends.
• Travel required for quality activities and benchmarking.
