Quality Group Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QA team activities, providing direction, training, and performance feedback to ensure productivity, food safety, and quality standards are met.
• Conduct and oversee required audits (weight/grade, metal detector, HACCP, and quality systems) and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Monitor sampling programs, environmental testing, and production trends, communicating issues and supporting corrective actions with Operations and Quality teams.
• Promote GMP compliance, safety practices, continuous improvement, and help deliver the highest quality finished product.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• High aptitude for attention to detail and meeting specific finished‑goods standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, GMP, HACCP, and internal auditing preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train, coach, and support team success.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google tools, and quality documentation systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced production environment with frequent standing/walking and occasional lifting up to 50 lb.

Pay

Pay range: $22 USD to $24 USD per hour.

Schedule

Second shift: 3 pm – 11 pm.
