Parts Quality Group Lead

About the Role

Support Parts Quality Mass Production team by preventing supplier defects, analyzing problems, and implementing effective countermeasures to ensure quality. Manage change points to minimize production impact and collaborate with suppliers, internal departments, and R&D teams to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Address daily quality problems by gathering inspection data and utilizing Honda problem-solving tools.
• Approve supplier countermeasures and coordinate meetings to develop solutions.
• Support supplier quality assurance visits to verify investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist in reviewing system design changes and train associates on Honda quality systems.
• Evaluate team members’ skills to foster problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience working with OEM suppliers.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and led team activities.

Working Conditions

Requires travel between production and office areas, with at least 30% travel involved. Leadership in team activities, flexible schedules, and working overtime as necessary are essential.
