Parts Quality Group Lead

Responsibilities

• Support the Parts Quality Mass Production Team by investigating and preventing supplier defects, analyzing problems, and implementing effective countermeasures to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers, internal departments, and R&D groups to address complex issues, review system design changes, and support supplier quality assurance visits.
• Assist in developing team members' technical and problem-solving skills while managing change points to minimize production impact.
• Work with suppliers to resolve daily quality issues using measurement data and Honda problem-solving tools.
• Approve supplier countermeasures and coordinate meetings to establish effective solutions.
• Support quality assurance visits to verify investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist in reporting investigation outcomes and maintaining quality management systems.
• Evaluate associate performance and foster their development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing and working with OEM suppliers.

Skills

• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Flexible schedule, capable of traveling, leading teams, and working off-shifts or overtime as needed.
