Part Time - Teller

Role Overview

Provide accurate and timely customer service in a retail banking environment, serving as the first point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include processing financial transactions, promoting bank products, referring clients to appropriate services, and developing long-term profitable relationships to maximize revenue.

Key Duties

• Handle cash drawer, ensuring security and compliance with policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions.
• Assist with ATM balancing, deposit verification, and vault controls.
• Deliver excellent client experiences, resolve issues promptly, and support client service needs.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products and services.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, and coin counters.
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.

Additional Information

• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Employment is contingent upon background and credit checks, including compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act.
• Not required to hold specific licenses or certifications.
