About the role

This position involves providing accurate, timely customer service in a retail banking environment, serving as the first point of contact for clients. It includes processing financial transactions, managing cash control, and maintaining high service standards while developing and retaining profitable client relationships, recommending banking products, and referring clients to relevant departments to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely customer service as the first point of contact in a retail banking environment.
• Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions.
• Manage cash drawer with proper controls and perform cash‑control duties.
• Assist with ATM balancing, deposit verification, and vault responsibilities while ensuring compliance with operational policies.
• Deliver excellent client experiences, promptly resolve issues, and assist with service needs.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and promote bank products to strengthen client relationships.
• Refer clients to relevant departments to maximize revenue.
• Adhere to regulatory, risk‑management, and internal‑control policies, maintaining compliance and security standards.
• Participate in training to enhance product knowledge and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, a 10‑key calculator, and coin‑counting tools.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and adapt to operational updates.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Must pass background checks and meet licensing regulations.
