About the role
This position involves providing care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor residents and document behaviors
- Assist with daily tasks such as housekeeping and meal preparation
- Administer medications and respond to emergencies
- Support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Lead educational activities
- Transport residents as needed
- Perform basic first aid
- Work independently, problem-solve, and attend required training sessions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in similar services preferred
- Strong reading, writing, and math skills
- Problem-solving ability and capacity to follow directions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- DHS 83 training or willingness to obtain it
