Part-Time Residential Care Worker - Overnight Shift

About the role

Seeking a dedicated Adult Residential Support Professional to provide care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, monitoring, and serving as a positive role model for residents
• Documenting behaviors and maintaining records
• Assisting with housekeeping, supplies, and medication administration
• Responding to emergencies and supporting residents' treatment goals
• Attending staff meetings, training, and assisting with life skills, meal prep, and transportation
• Leading educational activities and providing basic first aid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework toward a bachelor's in social work or related fields may be needed
• Preferred previous experience in similar settings
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to pass background checks and training

Additional Requirements

• Basic computer skills, effective verbal and written communication
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and walk regularly
• Ability to work in a community-based residential environment with moderate noise
• Travel for day trips as needed
