About the role
Provides care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor residents and document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping tasks
- Administer medications
- Share updates with external partners
- Respond to emergencies
- Support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Lead educational activities
- Transport residents as needed
- Collect specimens
- Provide basic first aid
- Assist residents with life skills and meal preparation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Coursework in social work or related fields preferred
- Prior experience in similar settings is advantageous
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Relevant training (e.g., First Aid, Fire Safety) preferred
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism
- Capacity to work independently
- Ability to handle physical demands such as standing, bending, and outdoor exposure
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills
- Travel may include day trips
