Part-Time Residential Care Worker - Overnight Shift

About the role

Community-based setting with moderate noise; travel up to 25–50%; physical activity including outdoor exposure and yard work.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, monitoring, and serving as a positive role model for residents
• Documenting behaviors and maintaining records
• Assisting with housekeeping, supplies, and medication administration
• Sharing client updates while maintaining confidentiality
• Responding to emergencies and crisis situations
• Helping residents achieve treatment goals and teaching life skills
• Transporting residents and leading educational group activities
• Providing basic first aid and performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework toward a bachelor’s may be needed
• Preferred previous experience in similar services
• Strong reading, writing, math, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively

Certifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license preferred; must pass motor vehicle check
• Training in Fire Safety, First Aid, and Medication Administration preferred; required after hire
• Effective communication, basic computer skills, and physical ability to perform duties
