About the role
Adult Residential Support Professional in a residential treatment facility, providing care and support to clients in addiction and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping
- Distribute supplies
- Administer medications
- Share client updates
- Respond to emergencies
- Support treatment goals
- Work independently
- Attend training
- Assist with meals and life skills
- Transport residents
- Collect specimens
- Lead educational activities
- Provide basic first aid
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Coursework in social work or related fields may be needed
- Prior experience preferred
- Strong reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to maintain boundaries
- Ability to work collaboratively
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must pass motor vehicle check
- DHS 83 training preferred or required after hire
