About the role
An Adult Residential Support Professional provides care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping and supplies
- Administer medications
- Share updates with partners
- Respond to emergencies
- Help residents achieve treatment goals
- Lead group activities
- Perform basic first aid
- Assist with meal preparation and transportation
- Administer urine tests
- Support life skills development
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Coursework toward a bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in similar services is advantageous
- Must demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Additional certifications such as DHS 83 training encouraged
