Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs
- Monitor and interact with clients
- Document behaviors and share updates with partners
- Assist with household tasks
- Administer medications
- Respond to emergencies
- Support treatment goals
- Lead educational activities
- Transport residents
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in similar services preferred
- Strong reading, writing, and math skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
Certifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must pass motor vehicle check
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing, bending, and outdoor exposure
- Must pass DHS 83 training
- Possess or obtain first aid and fire safety certification
- Ability to work in community-based residential settings
- Travel up to 50% for day trips
