Part-Time Residential Care Worker - Overnight

About the role

The Adult Residential Support Professional provides care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor residents
• Document behaviors
• Assist with housekeeping and supplies
• Administer medications
• Share updates securely
• Respond to emergencies
• Help residents achieve treatment goals
• Attend training
• Facilitate educational activities
• Transport residents
• Collect specimens
• Provide first aid
• Perform assigned duties

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; coursework toward a degree preferred. Prior experience is advantageous. Must possess strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Certifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license preferred; must pass MVR check
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a community setting
• DHS 83 training preferred but required after hire

Additional Details

Effective communication, physical stamina, and flexibility are essential. Some travel may be involved.
