Part-Time Residential Care Worker - Overnight

About the role

Adult Residential Support Professional providing care and support in a residential treatment setting for individuals with substance use disorders and criminogenic risk factors.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor residents
• Document behaviors and share updates confidentially
• Assist with housekeeping and meal preparation
• Administer medications
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid
• Support treatment goals and lead educational activities
• Teach life skills
• Transport residents and perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience preferred
• Strong reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team
• Effective communication, professionalism, and patience
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Must obtain DHS 83 training after hire
• Basic computer skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a community residential setting, handle outdoor conditions, and travel for day trips
