About the role
The Adult Residential Support Professional provides care and support to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping
- Administer medications
- Share updates with partners
- Respond to emergencies
- Help residents achieve treatment goals
- Lead group activities
- Provide basic first aid
- Assist with daily living tasks (e.g., meal prep and transportation)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in similar services preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential
Certifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must pass motor vehicle check
- Basic computer skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
Physical & Work Environment
Involves physical activity, outdoor exposure, and community-based residential settings. Travel may be required for resident appointments.
