Part Time Registered Dietitian

About the role

Are you a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) looking for a flexible part-time opportunity where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals using Food as Medicine? Nutritious Lifestyles is looking for an RDN to provide individualized nutrition care, assessments, education, and ongoing clinical support while working closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to promote health and wellness.
• Monitor patients' nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support facilities with temporary coverage and nutrition program needs.
• Help transform lives through the power of Food as Medicine.
• Identify and provide interventions for malnutrition, unintended weight changes, poor intake, and nutrition-related concerns.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and clinical meetings.
• Help improve overall health, nutritional status, quality of life, and patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Pay

Starting $35/hour and up (Based on Experience)
