About the role
We are seeking a Patient Access Representative Associate to greet patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and ensure accurate registration in electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
- Check in patients and verify insurance eligibility
- Explain costs and financial assistance options
- Resolve registration or claim issues
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and in person
- Assist with appointment scheduling
- Support patients with financial aid applications
Requirements
- At least 6 months of customer service experience in healthcare or related fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Revenue cycle experience
- Office experience
- Familiarity with Epic systems
