Part Time Patient Access Representative

Join a healthcare support team responsible for patient registration and customer service. Primary Duties Include Greeting and welcoming patients in personCollecting demographic and insurance informationChecking in patients, completing paperwork, and directing them to appointmentsVerifying insurance eligibility and benefits, explaining costs, and collecting co-pays or deductiblesScreening and assisting patients with financial assistance applicationsResolving registration issues and documenting interactions in electronic medical recordsProviding inbound and outbound customer service and mentoring staff as needed Qualifications Required At least 6 months of customer service experience in an office or hospital settingProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to work rotating shifts, including overnight hoursMust be 18 years or older Preferred Skills Experience with revenue cycle managementGeneral office experience and Epic systems familiarity Physical Demands Include Walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs. occasionally Additional Information Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour, with benefits including comprehensive health coverage, incentive programs, and retirement options.
