Part Time Patient Access Representative

About the role

This role involves greeting and registering patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, and managing electronic medical records. You will provide excellent customer service both via phone and in person, assist with financial assistance applications, and guide patients through financial and medical processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and resolve registration issues
• Manage electronic medical records and document issues
• Assist patients with financial assistance applications
• Provide customer service in person and over the phone
• May involve scheduling and guiding patients through processes

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience
• 6 months of healthcare revenue cycle experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records
• Experience with Epic

Physical Demands

• Walking and standing for extended periods
• Light lifting

Pay

$18.00 – $32.00 per hour
