Part Time Patient Access Representative

About the Role

Seeking a Patient Services Representative Associate to support patient engagement and administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and supporting patients, providing a welcoming environment
• Collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information
• Completing paperwork, including financial assistance applications
• Explaining costs, collecting payments, and counseling on financial aid
• Resolving claim issues and documenting interactions in electronic records
• Providing customer service through inbound and outbound calls
• Assisting with appointment scheduling and supporting team needs
• Mentoring staff and handling additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 or older

Preferred Qualifications

• Revenue cycle or office experience
• Epic system familiarity

Physical Requirements

Walking, standing, bending, with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
