Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safety
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor symptoms and provide medications for relief as prescribed
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance standards

Play a critical role in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
