About the role
LPN Medication Nurse responsible for administering medications, monitoring resident health, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
- Document accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time and transcribe physician orders.
- Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions or refusals, and observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
- Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), maintain medication carts, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong assessment, observational, and documentation skills.
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.
