Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications for relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance

Ensure medication safety, early health change detection, and resident safety through clinical accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
