About the role

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of the property, providing exceptional customer service while driving leasing goals and creating a seamless experience for prospective and current residents. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your career in multifamily property management while helping shape a welcoming, thriving community.

Responsibilities

  • Show, lease, and welcome prospective residents to the property.
  • Assist in completing market surveys and execute marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
  • Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Guide residents through move-in, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Provide superior customer service, responding promptly and professionally to resident inquiries or concerns.
  • Process maintenance requests and work with the team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain resident files with completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain daily updates of unit availability and community calendars.
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure all units meet Trinity’s move-in ready standards.
  • Support property management with administrative duties, phone support, and other tasks as needed.
  • Conduct move-out inspections and assist with property turnover procedures.
  • Handle resident collections in accordance with Trinity’s standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year in a customer service or sales role; multifamily leasing experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus (e.g. knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations).
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Yardi, Entrata, EliseAI, Celeri, and social media is a bonus.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.

Physical Demands

  • Regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, as well as use of hands and arms.
  • Occasional climbing may be required.
  • Extended use of computers or telephones.
  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms.
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.

Pay

$14 to $15 hourly, depending on experience, plus lease commissions and lease renewal bonuses.

Schedule

Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
