Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

This position involves acting as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with responsibilities including assisting in store operations, maintaining merchandise displays, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also includes acting in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain store displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and process payments accurately.
• Help with store cleanliness, safety, and organization, including cleaning floors and restrooms.
• Support inventory management and plan‑o‑gram implementation.
• In the absence of managers, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, and monitor store security and cash control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory or related experience.

Skills

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and operate cash handling procedures.
• Effective communication skills and knowledge of safety policies.
• Experience with cash registers and understanding of store operations.
