Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

About the role

This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of Store Management. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, maintaining plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating cash registers, and ensuring a clean, organized store environment. The role also encompasses safeguarding assets, reducing losses, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves following store procedures.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide superior service.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and maintain register area.
• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store environment.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, and monitor security practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience advantageous.
